Gerade im Kindergarten fallen Kinder häufig durch aufsässiges Verhalten, motorische Unruhe und Konzentrationsstörungen sowie durch unkoordinierte Handlungen und competitive Verhaltensmuster auf. Das Arbeiten unter konventionellen Bedingungen gestaltet sich meist schwierig und fordert ein hohes Maß an engagiertem pädagogischen Können und Wissen. Während der letzten Praktika meiner Ausbildung konnte ich eine Vielzahl von Kindern mit Wahrnehmungsstörungen beobachten und entsprechende Verhaltensweisen feststellen, die meine Kompetenzen als Erzieherin in vielerlei Hinsicht herausforderten. Somit steht für mich nicht nur die Frage nach pädagogisch wirksamen Förderungsmöglichkeiten im Vordergrund, sondern ebenso die Frage nach dem Ursprung und der Häufigkeit dieser Störungen in Kohärenz mit elterlichen Erziehungsformen.
      Diese Arbeit soll darstellen, inwiefern Wahrnehmungsstörungen für eine auffällige Ich- und Sozialkompetenz ursächlich sind sowie Zusammenhänge von internen und externen Faktoren aufzeigen, die Einfluss auf die Persönlichkeitsentwicklung eines Kindes nehmen. Des Weiteren sollen Wahrnehmungsspiele und Spiele mit Wettbewerbscharakter als pädagogisch wirksame Förderungsmöglichkeiten aspektuiert und deren Effektivität in Bezug auf die Entwicklung einzelner Kompetenzbereiche überprüft werden.
